Case Summary

(The summary is temporary while we research the case further). In 2023, Florida Preborn Rescue, Inc. ("FBR") sued the City of Clearwater, Florida over the City's buffer zone around a local abortion clinic. The district court denied FBR's motion for a preliminary injunction but, in a December 4, 2025 opinion, the 11th Circuit reversed, holding that the plaintiffs were likely to succeed on their First Amendment claims.
