On May 30, 2002, the Atlanta office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit against Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. We have no further information on the allegations made because we do not have the complaint in this case.

On July 9, 2002, the defendants filed a counterclaim in the case, but they voluntarily dismissed it 15 days later. On July 16, 2002, the court granted the complainants' motions to intervene as plaintiffs in the case. The defendants filed a motion to dismiss on September 19, 2002, but they withdrew it voluntarily on October 3, 2002. On March 11, 2003, the parties entered a consent decree, which the court adopted and dismissed the case. We have no record of the consent decree, and therefore no further information on the terms of the settlement between the parties.
